While using it the lid is coming up , the pressure also coming outside because of loose lid, it’s the big problem regarding it

Thank top cover is not sitting properly, it is very hard to sitting if I hardly sit it then unable to open it. When try to put the top cover then inside of the idly will be poured inside.

Product is good, easy to use, makes 24 idlis in 1 round but size of idlis is a bit small. Base of the idli cooker is very thin and so the color of base turned to black for the first time use, though cooked on low flame. Idlis cooked well but of small size and base turned black in colour. I have been using a 3 plate pigeon idli cooker (kadai type) of steel since 7 years, but there were no black coloured shades appeared on its base yet. That’s the difference. I was in need of 6 plate cooker, so booked this one. Price seems a bit expensive. Overall it’s good 👍

Quality of steel is good buy the plates are nod deep enough so they make small idlis if fill batter completely to the plate, the upper plate bottom stand intersect with the bottom plate’s idlis and the cooker is not so thick so its light weight.

Thought this may help someone who is trying to estimate the size of the idlis this can make, I wanted something that 7 idlis plate can make as you can see in the picture that’s quite big compared to this (middle one) also the left extreme plate is of Prestige make that fits in to Prestige 5 ltrs cooker, that’s way smaller than this one. It comes with a removable handle to take the stand out from the vessel.
So this is a good product if you are looking for cooking it on gas flame and doesn’t mind smaller idlis, didn’t return since no issue with the product but only makes smaller ones than expected. It’s better if they indicate the size of the idlis in cms it can make for easy selection.
